Caveman Food

I happened to be at Star Vista one day and I needed to get some lunch. I was feeling a little bloated and pressed for time so  I was looking for something light and I found this quirky little shop called Caveman Food.

Caveman Food strictly follows paleo diet, which means no gluten, grains, soy, diary and sugars on top of them more common no monosodium glutamate (MSG), cooking oil and artificial flavorings. A meal consists of protein and 2 side dishes, with the option of topping up $1.60 for a drink.

I wanted to have Salmon Fillet but it was out of stock so I settled for Beef Cubes salad with side dishes of Sweet Potato and Baked Eggs. The salad is miserable-looking with a few pieces of leathery-hard beef cubes on top of a bed of vegetables, dressed with vinaigrette dressing. Sweet Potato is very dry and Baked Eggs is bland.

This is literally what I would imagine our caveman ancestors would have eaten. I love the idea of eating healthy, but I would appreciate if more care could be put into the selection of the ingredients and the time of cooking to attain maximum flavors. I am sorry to say this, but this is a cafe people will try once and never come back again.
