Keisuke Tokyo

After having eaten such good food at Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King and Gyoza King, I have decided to try out all six Keisuke outlets. I was wondering around Suntec City looking for food during lunch time when I saw Keisuke Tokyo.

Following the tradition across all Keisuke restaurants, Keisuke Tokyo also provides free-flow bean sprouts.

Keisuke Tokyo is famous for its Crab Stock Ramen, so I ordered Crab Stock Ramen Special but I forgot that it already includes flavoured egg and I ordered another flavoured egg. I certainly don't mind since I love to eat Japanese flavoured egg. The stock is thick, but with a strong taste of the sea. It can be a little overpowering for those who are used to thinner broths.

The chasyu here is very chewy and not as marinated.

The noodles used are the thick and flat noodles normally used in Kitakata ramen. Since the restaurant is named Keisuke Tokyo, I thought they would use the thin and curly noodles that is normally found in Tokyo style ramen.

Niboshi (fish stock) is another speciality ramen that is not commonly found in Singapore. I ordered Niboshi Ramen Special and I was not disappointed. The broth is a slightly thinner than that of the Crab Stock Ramen, but the taste of anchovies is intense in every mouthful.

The noodles used in the Niboshi ramen are still the thick and flat noodles, same as the one used in the Crab Stock Ramen.

Every store of Keisuke offers a different concept, Keisuke Tokyo is more stylish with comfortable seats and spacious design. Now I know where I can get a good bowl of ramen in Suntec City.
