Ramen Keisuke Tori King - Keisuki Challenge

Fourth stop, Ramen Keisuke Tori King.

First time I am able to get such a clear picture of the noren (Japanese fabric dividers).

Condiments and free-flow hard-boiled eggs and bean sprouts. The lady who served me was a pleasant young lady and she even brought me two peeled eggs that are just cooked and are still warm.

I ordered Tori King Ramen Special which comes with all the topping of seaweed, flavoured egg and chashu. Keisuke Tokyo's Chicken Stock Ramen has a clear broth while Tori King Ramen is almost like a cross between tonkotsu and chicken stock. It is thicker and tastier. Chasyu are not the heavily marinated ones found outside, theirs is plain but tasteful which is good because it does not divert your attention. The chicken drumstick is cooked just right and the meat falls right off.

The noodles used is yellow, much like the yellow noodles Chinese use, but without the pungent yeast taste.

Nothing beats a good bowl of hot steaming ramen after a hard day at work.

Four restaurants down, two more to go.
